Who was first to break the law?

Adam sinned, but there was no law.  He just had one rule and he broke it.

Turns out to be Moses - literally.  He broke the first set of tablets and we have been dealing with revision 2 ever since.

• ¹The LORD said to Moses, "Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

However -   "The righteous shall live by faith."
