'random' is in quotes because nothing is random. Confer Proverbs 16:33. Links in excerpts will generally lead to the underlying chapter of the day. Titles are random or inspired by readings when no links are given.

but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Joy Comes with the Morning
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.

You Keep Him in Perfect Peace
Open the gates,
that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in.
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.
For he has humbled
the inhabitants of the height,
the lofty city.
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent ( not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
