We are doing a chronological study on the Apostle Paul, reading Acts and the letters in the sequence in which they occurred.
It starts with the story of Stephen in Acts 6, and of particular note was that he saw Jesus *standing* at the right hand of the Father. Made me think of the crowd at a baseball game standing up when a home run is hit.
Wondered how many reference there were to "the right hand of the Father". Just got one in today's 'random'. Psalm 80
'random' is in quotes because nothing is random. Confer Proverbs 16:33. Links in excerpts will generally lead to the underlying chapter of the day. Titles are random or inspired by readings when no links are given.

At the end of the book
Today was the 'random' day to read the end of the book.
Interesting how "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you" got started. That is the story of the OT today. It actually was first spoken to Abram in Haran - here it is getting passed on to the third generation under somewhat shady circumstances.
