Beyond measure

Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden,
   whom God has hedged in?
"And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?

The prudent see danger

You have set up a banner for those who fear you,
   that they may flee to it from the bow.

"Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who it is that gave you this authority."

The heart of the matter

And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

In the quiet times

May the LORD make the woman, who is coming into your house, like Rachel and Leah.

Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, ² to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Wonder

The light at the end of the tunnel

A great light
